What is Captivator NL?: Captivator NL is our non-linear captioning software. Timestamped captions are created to sync up with the dialogue, narration, and other sound in a video, and then encoded into the video to produce closed captions post-production.
What file formats do you support?: As input: .CAP files, and ASCII scripts, .AVI video files.
As output: .CAP (NL) files; with utililities: .SUB, .SRT, .SCC (more possible by special request).
Does Captivator NL work on a Mac?: No.
Do you support HD encoding?: We support HD Closed Captions using an HD encoder, as long as the encoder accepts Standard CC data feeds.
I have an old DOS version of your Offline software, does it work on a Windows PC?: No, but we've got new Non-Linear Windows software, Captivator NL. Click here to request a free Trial!
